About this Apprenticeship
Lidl offers a three-year school-leaver programme at its store at Stapper Weg 11 in Mönchengladbach. It combines a retail apprenticeship with an advanced IHK retail management qualification and a trainer qualification, preparing you for a store leadership role. Training starts on 1 August.
What You'll Learn
- Earn three qualifications in three years: combine a retail apprenticeship with the advanced IHK retail management qualification and the trainer qualification under AEVO, with the goal of leading your own team as a store manager in the future
- Learn the business from the ground up during practical store placements and see how quality, freshness and cleanliness create a good shopping experience
- Take an active role in stocking and presenting goods, planning stock and working at the checkout
- Develop staff management skills so you can soon lead your first shift
- Attend training courses and seminars to develop your skills further and earn the IHK trainer qualification
- Attend classroom study in blocks at an external training centre, with Lidl covering any travel and accommodation costs
Requirements
- Abitur or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, with both the theoretical and practical parts completed
- A committed approach to work and an interest in the fast-moving retail sector
- Enthusiasm, determination and a strong willingness to take responsibility
- Team spirit and enjoyment of achieving things with others
- Reliability and flexibility to work during your store's opening hours
