About this Apprenticeship
A three-year retail programme with Lidl in Werder leading to three qualifications: retail sales professional, certified IHK retail business specialist and an AEVO trainer qualification. The programme prepares you for store leadership and combines practical placements with classroom blocks at an external training centre.
What You'll Learn
- Earn three qualifications in three years: combine retail sales vocational training with the certified IHK retail business specialist qualification and an AEVO trainer qualification, with the goal of leading your own store team
- Learn the business from the ground up during practical store placements and see how quality, freshness and cleanliness create a good shopping experience
- Take an active role in stocking shelves, displaying products, ordering stock and operating the checkout
- Develop staff leadership skills so you can soon manage your first shift
- Attend training sessions and seminars to develop your skills, and obtain the IHK trainer qualification
- Attend classroom training in blocks at an external training centre, with Lidl covering any travel and accommodation costs
Requirements
- Abitur or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, with both theoretical and practical components completed
- A committed approach to work and interest in the busy world of retail
- Enthusiasm, determination and a strong willingness to take responsibility
- Team spirit and enjoyment of achieving things with others
- Reliability and flexibility to work during your store's opening hours
