Apprenticeship as Construction Mechanic 2027

As an apprentice at Linde Material Handling, you learn basic metalwork training: handling tools and machines, non-cutting forming, welding methods and electrical connection and control technology. You are also trained in robotics and quality management.

• In basic metalwork training, work safely with tools and machines and shape metal
• Learn basics of electrical and control technology
• Program robots and use them in production
• Change workpieces by non-cutting forming such as bending or pressing
• Apply various welding techniques
• In quality management, ensure production and inspection run smoothly

• At least a qualified secondary school certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate
• Technical understanding and interest in machines and operational processes
• Solid math skills
• Good spatial imagination
• Manual skill and enjoyment of practical work
