Educational Specialist for Social Participation – Integration Assistance

As an educational specialist (m/f/d) at the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben, you play a central role in accompanying and supporting people with disabilities. You actively shape clients' daily lives and take on responsibility. Full-time or part-time, permanent.

• Everyday support and promotion of adults with intellectual disabilities in all areas of life
• Accompany people long-term and build trusting relationships within support planning and social participation, involving relatives, legal guardians and service providers
• Carry out creative leisure activities and make use of a broad, varied range of tasks
• Creative, self-determined and independent work with room for innovative ideas
• Be part of an important social and political mission

• State recognition as a social pedagogue, social worker, curative education nurse, special needs educator, rehabilitation educator or childcare educator (m/f/d)
• Ideally, you already have experience supporting people with disabilities.
• You enjoy working hand in hand in a multi-professional team.
• You enjoy working with people and actively building lasting relationships.
• You stand out through creativity, sense of responsibility, flexibility and an independent way of working in your daily work.
• You have experience documenting support services.
• You are willing to work rotating shifts (including night watch) and on weekends.
