Educational Specialist as Float Worker for Social Participation – Integration Assistance – for the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben in Euskirchen

As an educational specialist at the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben, you play a central role in accompanying and supporting people with disabilities. As a float worker, after induction you work flexibly or on a fixed rota in residential areas where staff absences must be covered. Full-time or part-time, permanent. Pay according to S8b TVöD-SuE.

• Everyday support and promotion of adults with intellectual disabilities in all areas of life
• Long-term support and building trusting relationships with a view to life goals and development within support planning and social participation, involving relatives, legal guardians and service providers
• Carrying out creative leisure activities
• Shaping your work independently
• Flexible deployment as a float worker in residential areas to cover staff absences

• State recognition as a social pedagogue, social worker, curative education nurse, curative education teacher, rehabilitation pedagogue or educator (m/f/d)
• Binding willingness to learn and regularly use German Sign Language (DGS)
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends
• Ideally experience supporting people with disabilities
• Enjoy working hand in hand in a multi-professional team
• Joy in working with people and actively building stable relationships
• Creativity, sense of responsibility, flexibility and an independent way of working
• Experience documenting support services
