Marginally Employed in Laundry Operations at Bedburg-Hau Site

The LVR Hospital Central Laundry (LVR-KHZW) mainly supplies 31 healthcare facilities belonging to the Rhineland Regional Association with approximately 250 supply and disposal points. The LVR Hospital Central Laundry is a full textile service provider with a comprehensive service profile. A total of 130 employees work at the sites in Bedburg-Hau and Viersen. The LVR Hospital Central Laundry is a recognized integration company according to § 215 SGB IX (company for the employment of severely disabled people on the general labor market).

• Participation in production
• Transport trips on the company premises or in the immediate vicinity (e.g. delivery of small materials, pickup of spare parts)
• Care and simple maintenance of outdoor areas (e.g. mowing lawns, removing weeds, cleaning paths and driveways)
• Assistance with small manual tasks (e.g. replacing light bulbs, tidying up storage rooms)
• Disposal activities such as sorting and providing recyclables (paper, plastic, metal)
• Errands or small purchases on behalf of the plant management
• Deployment times are coordinated according to production needs.
