Apprenticeship as a Medical Assistant

Apprenticeship at LVR Clinic Bedburg-Hau for the departments Adult Psychiatry III and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics at the sites Kleve, Geldern and Bedburg-Hau. Vocational school classes take place at the Berufskolleg des Kreises Kleve in Goch. Fixed term for the duration of the training, full-time.

• You support doctors with examinations, treatments, and the care and advising of patients
• You organize daily practice routines, schedule appointments and take on varied administrative tasks
• You carefully document treatment processes and help with billing medical services
• You are a contact person for our patients
• You learn to handle medical devices and instruments safely and take care of them properly
• You carry out various laboratory tasks and assist with diagnostic examinations

• Fachoberschulreife (intermediate school leaving certificate)
• Good German skills, spoken and written
• Commitment, teamwork and a sense of responsibility
• Interest in developments in healthcare
• Intercultural competence
