Specialist Physician or Resident Physician in Training Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (Children & Adolescents)

The department for psychiatry, psychosomatics and psychotherapy of childhood and adolescence at LVR Clinic Viersen is looking for a new team member. It is the largest child and adolescent psychiatry in Germany with 250 beds and places.

• Diagnostics and therapy: examinations, psychotherapeutic and pharmacological treatment, coordinating treatment
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with psychologists, nursing professionals, educators and specialist therapists
• Take part in team meetings and exchange with colleagues
• Work with family members and external partners such as schools and youth welfare

• Completed medical degree with German licence to practise (or professional recognition) or
• Specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy
• Desirable: interest in systemic and behavioral therapy thinking
• Desirable: team orientation, communication skills and empathy with patients and their families/environment
