Nursing Practice Expert, BA

LVR-Klinik Mönchengladbach is seeking nursing practice experts with a bachelor's degree to provide patient care and develop evidence-based, patient-centred nursing. The specialist clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy values teamwork, mutual respect, and its patients' recovery and inclusion.

• Support the ward team and provide day-to-day patient care
• Deliver and develop evidence-based, patient-centred nursing in close cooperation with the ward manager
• Take responsibility for nursing cases in cooperation with the doctors leading treatment
• Introduce, implement and establish new specialist topics and standards by training ward staff and helping new staff settle into their roles
• Advise the team on complex questions using scientific methods to put theory into practice, and provide the resulting advice and guidance while involving colleagues
• Advise patients and their families
• Where applicable, run group activities within and across wards

• Completed vocational training as a registered general nurse
• Completed bachelor's degree in Mental Health, Nursing Science or a comparable degree with a nursing focus
• An engaged personality, the ability to motivate others and openness to new ideas
• Experience in a psychiatric setting
• Good communication skills and enjoyment of working in a team with people from different professions
