Educational Specialist as Night Watch for Social Participation - Integration Assistance - for the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben in Euskirchen

As an educational specialist at the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben, you play a central role in accompanying and supporting people with disabilities. You support adults with intellectual disabilities during the night. Willingness to learn German Sign Language (DGS) is required.

• Meaningful task: supporting adults with intellectual disabilities during the night.
• Responsibility and relationship: You accompany people long-term, are available for relieving conversations and intervene in crises with de-escalating action. You encourage observing night rest and document the night's care in the Vivendi software. You also ensure a detailed handover to the day shift.
• Holistic work: Bring your personality into conversations and give the needed support, if necessary also by providing basic and simple medical care and administering night and as-needed medication.

• State recognition as social pedagogue, social worker, curative education nurse, special education teacher, rehabilitation educator or childcare educator (m/f/d)
• You are willing and happy to work permanently night shifts.
• Ideally you already have experience supporting people with disabilities.
• You enjoy working hand in hand in a multi-professional team.
• You enjoy working with people and actively building sustainable relationships.
• You are creative, responsible, flexible and work independently in your daily work.
• You have experience documenting support services.
