About this Apprenticeship
Start your training as a special needs care worker at LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben. The training contract is signed directly with LVR-Verbund. You are employed full-time and released for school, external internships and exam preparation (5 days). You can complete the practical part at 150 locations in the Rhineland. After you successfully finish, LVR would like to hire you.
What You'll Learn
- You support people with mental and/or multiple impairments in everyday life, strengthen their independence and actively shape their living environment.
- Educational and practical life tasks
- Work in group service in at least two LVR shared housing units, and where possible also in assisted living and day-structure services
Requirements
- You meet the requirements for the school-based part of the training and ideally have already applied to a vocational college that offers this training.
- You are interested in working with people with mental health impairments.
