What LVR (Landschaftsverband Rheinland) offers

• Classes of around 25 to 28 apprentices, supported by a course leader throughout the three years
• Teaching in blocks of 4 to 6 weeks with full-time teachers and expert part-time instructors
• A joint study trip abroad and participation in conferences and supervision sessions
• Support in developing your ability to take responsibility and work independently
• Higher training pay than in many other apprenticeships: currently €1,416 in the first year, €1,477.00 in the second year and €1,578.00 in the third year, valid from April 2025, plus extra pay for night shifts and work on Sundays and public holidays
• After completing your training, you qualify as a state-recognised nurse and may also earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
