About this Apprenticeship
Start your apprenticeship as a special needs care worker (m/f/d) with the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben. You support people with cognitive and/or physical disabilities in daily life, strengthen their independence and actively help shape their living environment. The training contract is made directly with the LVR-Verbund. Pay follows the TVAöD. After successful completion, the LVR would like to hire you.
What You'll Learn
- You support people with cognitive and/or physical disabilities in daily life, strengthen their independence and actively help shape their living environment.
- You can expect a mix of educational, practical living and nursing tasks.
- You get to know at least two LVR residential homes and work there in group service.
- You may also work in assisted living, in day structure services (HPZ) and in social rehabilitation.
Requirements
- You meet the requirements for the school part of the training and ideally have already applied to a vocational college that offers this training
What LVR (Landschaftsverband Rheinland) offers
- Full-time position as a trainee, released for school, external internships and exam preparation (5 days)
- Pay according to the collective agreement for trainees in the public sector (TVAöD)
- Takeover planned after successful completion
