Apprentice state-qualified nurse, starting on 1 October each year

General nursing training at LVR-Klinik Düren leading to a state nursing qualification, with a specialist placement in psychiatry and outpatient care in general and older adult psychiatry. The training lasts 3 years and starts on 1 October each year. A permanent position after training is planned.

• Support people with mental health conditions and difficulties with empathy during their recovery
• Complete practical training in the clinic's different departments, nearby hospitals and care homes, and outpatient care
• Attend theoretical and practical lessons on supporting the health of people of all ages and helping them manage illness and age-related difficulties
• Attend lessons in blocks of weeks, supported by modern media

• An intermediate school leaving certificate or another equivalent qualification following 10 years of schooling
• Applicants with a lower secondary school leaving certificate after 9 years must also have successfully completed either vocational training lasting at least two years or a state-regulated nursing assistant or helper training course lasting at least one year.
