Physiotherapists for the LVR Hugo Kükelhaus School in Wiehl - Focus on physical and motor development

In the interdisciplinary therapy practice at the LVR Hugo Kükelhaus School, you are part of a team of 10 therapists supporting students with high needs for intensive educational support. Through your therapeutic work, you help develop students' abilities and improve their quality of life. Note: Vacation can only be taken during school holidays. Additional free time during school holidays is balanced out by extra work during school weeks.

• You carry out physiotherapy treatments for students, some with severe multiple disabilities, based on medical prescriptions.
• You are responsible for creating progress documentation and preparing billing for therapy prescriptions.
• You take part in consultations with different professional groups to solve disability-related problems.
• In close cooperation within a multiprofessional team and with the care and education areas, you contribute to holistic care of the students.
• You help with the regular checks of the school buses and taxis of the student transport service.

• A training as a state-recognized physiotherapist or a state-recognized bachelor's degree in physiotherapy
• Interest in therapeutic care in the field of pediatrics
• Ideally a qualification that allows dispensing and billing of certificate services (especially Bobath pediatrics/Vojta pediatrics)
• Willingness to work closely in an interdisciplinary team
• Sensitivity when working with students with disabilities
• Interest in assistive device provision
• Knowledge of common MS Office applications
• Before signing the employment contract, proof of sufficient measles protection under the Measles Protection Act (unless you were born before 1971 or are demonstrably not subject to the legal vaccination requirement)
