What LVR (Landschaftsverband Rheinland) offers

• A varied mix of educational support, daily living support and care tasks, offering meaningful work closely supporting people.
• You are employed as a full-time apprentice. You are given time off for school, external placements and five days of exam preparation.
• During your training, you will get to know at least two LVR residential homes and work with their resident groups.
• Where possible, you may also work in supported living, daytime activity services (HPZ) and social rehabilitation.
• Pay follows the current public service pay scale for apprentices (TVAöD).
• After you successfully complete your training, the employer looks forward to offering you a position and continuing to work with you.
• You have a dedicated contact from the moment your application arrives. Throughout your training, you receive professional guidance and support with both work and personal matters.
• Support finding a suitable location.
• Free entry to LVR museums, with art, industrial history, archaeology, permanent and temporary exhibitions, and educational and leisure programmes for all ages.
• Alongside pay under the TVöD pay scale, you receive extras such as an annual special payment, a workplace pension, savings contributions and performance pay based on individually agreed goals.
• 30 days of holiday with a five-day working week, giving you time to rest and recharge.
• Meaningful work helping shape the future of healthcare and supporting people in the Rhineland.
• Stable, secure employment with a public employer in an open workplace that serves society.
• Regular meetings to set individual goals, a wide range of further training and opportunities to explore other LVR departments.

• If you do not yet meet the practical entry requirements, support is available through an internship or a voluntary social year (FSJ).
