About this Apprenticeship
As a curative education nurse at LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben, you play a central role in accompanying and supporting people with disabilities. You usually support people with hearing impairment one-to-one in assisted living. A binding willingness to learn and regularly use German Sign Language (DGS) is required. Part-time, permanent, pay according to S8b TVöD-SuE.
What You'll Learn
- Usually support people with hearing impairment one-to-one and build trusting relationships
- Everyday support, basic nursing care and encouragement of adults with intellectual disabilities
- Carry out creative leisure activities
- Shape your work independently and creatively
Requirements
- State recognition as a curative education nurse (m/f/d)
- Experience working with people with hearing impairment
- Ideally experience supporting people with disabilities
- You enjoy working hand in hand in a multi-professional team
- Joy in working with people and building lasting relationships
- Creativity, sense of responsibility, flexibility and an independent way of working
- Experience documenting support services
- Willingness to learn and regularly use German Sign Language (DGS)
