About this Apprenticeship
Start your training as a special needs care worker (m/f/d) at the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben. You are employed as a trainee in a full position and are released for school, external internships and exam preparation. The training contract is signed directly with the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben, and pay follows the TVAöD. The practical part can be completed at over 150 locations in the Rhineland. Fixed term for the duration of the training, full-time.
What You'll Learn
- You support people with cognitive and/or physical impairments in everyday life, strengthen their independence and actively help shape their living environment.
- You can expect an exciting mix of educational, practical life and care tasks – varied, meaningful and close to people.
Requirements
- You meet the requirements for the school part of the training and ideally have already applied to a vocational college that offers this training
- If you do not yet meet the practical part of the entry requirements, we are happy to support you with an internship or a voluntary social year (FSJ).
What LVR (Landschaftsverband Rheinland) offers
- Employment in a full position; release for school, external internships and exam preparation (5 days)
- You get to know at least two LVR residential homes in group service
- Depending on feasibility, work may also take place in assisted living, in day-structure services (HPZ) and in social rehabilitation
- Pay according to the collective agreement for trainees in the public sector (TVAöD)
- Takeover after successful completion
- A fixed contact person from receipt of your application and professional support throughout the training
- Practical part possible at over 150 locations across the Rhineland, with help finding a location
