Apprenticeship in Special Needs Education and Care for the LVR Housing Network WohnenPlusLeben

Start your training as a special needs educator and carer with the LVR Housing Network WohnenPlusLeben. You support people with cognitive and/or physical disabilities in everyday life and strengthen their independence, with a mix of educational, daily-living and care tasks. You are employed full-time and get to know at least two LVR residential homes. The training contract is signed directly with the LVR network; after successful completion they aim to hire you.

• You support people with cognitive and/or physical disabilities in everyday life, strengthen their independence and actively help shape their living environment.
• You can expect an exciting mix of educational, daily-living and care tasks – varied, meaningful and close to people.
• During the training you get to know at least two of our LVR residential homes and work there in group service.
• Depending on feasibility, you may also work in assisted living, in day-structure services (HPZ) and in social rehabilitation.

• You meet the requirements for the school-based part of the training and ideally have already applied to a vocational college that offers this training
• If you do not yet meet the practical part of the entry requirements, we gladly support you with an internship place or a voluntary social year (FSJ).
