Apprentice as Industrial Mechanic for Precision Engineering

During your apprenticeship you will learn step by step the world of the industrial mechanic – from classic metalworking to CNC machines. You will learn, among other things: the basics of metalworking and precision mechanics; planning, organizing and evaluating work processes; reading and creating technical drawings and documents; applying manual and mechanical machining techniques; programming and operating modern CNC machine tools; basics of electrical engineering and control technology; manufacturing and assembling precise components and assemblies. The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years. With special prior knowledge or very good performance, a shortening is possible.

A qualified and varied apprenticeship in the environment of an international research institution, as well as a modern, centrally located and well-connected workplace in a strongly international environment. Remuneration is according to the TVAöD (public sector trainee collective agreement).
