Medical Physics Expert for Radiation Therapy

Our modernised Strahlentherapie 360° practice at Klinikum Solingen offers outpatients and inpatients the full range of modern radiation therapy. You work on an Elekta linear accelerator with IMRT, VMAT and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and benefit from close professional exchange in the Med 360° network.

• Creating radiation treatment plans (3D-conformal and VMAT / IMRT)
• Carrying out constancy checks on radiation therapy systems: linear accelerators, treatment planning systems, EPID, cone-beam CT and conventional CT
• Clinical dosimetry
• Supporting medical and medical-technical staff with technical questions
• Helping develop and implement new methods
• Supporting selected IT systems
• Taking on the tasks and duties of a radiation protection officer
• Participating in on-call duty

• Radiation protection expertise for linear accelerators
• Knowledge of current radiation protection legislation
• Independent, responsible and patient-oriented way of working
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• The ability to integrate into an existing team
• Strong communication skills
