About this Apprenticeship
- Support in deriving short- and medium-term sales targets for TEV (Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Maybach and the G-Class) together with TEV Market Management and the Sales Planning & Reporting team
- Ensuring sufficient production and managing bottleneck issues, particularly during the launch of new products but also in series production (lifecycle)
- Operational support of TEV market management to achieve volume and inventory targets with a view to identifying growth potentials and creating risk assessments
- Further development of planning and reporting tools for series-specific issues using innovative data analytics approaches, data visualization and AI
- Close cooperation with cross-functional areas, in particular market management, product management, controlling, plants and Mercedes-Benz sales functions
- Management-ready preparation for committees, among other things in the form of presentations
- Mandatory internship (enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program) in the field of business administration/engineering or similar
- Methodological competence and experience in the field of planning and systematic reporting
- Strong analytical understanding and high affinity for numbers
- Very good analytical skills combined with a high degree of creativity, reliability, initiative, communication skills and flexibility
- Proficient use of MS Office and data analysis software
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Enjoy working in a team
What You'll Learn
- Help develop short and medium term sales targets for TEV (Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Maybach and the G-Class) together with TEV Market Management and the Sales Planning & Reporting team
- Ensure sufficient production and manage bottlenecks, especially during new product launches and ongoing series production
- Provide operational support to TEV Market Management to achieve sales volume and inventory targets, identify growth opportunities and prepare risk assessments
- Develop planning and reporting tools for model-specific questions using innovative data analysis, data visualization and AI
- Work closely with other departments, especially market management, product management, controlling, plants and Mercedes-Benz sales teams
- Prepare materials for management committees, including presentations
Requirements
- A required internship as part of an enrolled bachelor's or master's degree in business and economics, industrial engineering or a similar field
- Knowledge of methods and experience in planning and systematic reporting
- Strong analytical understanding and an aptitude for numbers
- Very good analytical skills combined with creativity, reliability, initiative, communication skills and flexibility
- Confident use of MS Office and data analysis software
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Enjoyment of teamwork
