The automotive region Rastatt, with the Mercedes-Benz locations Rastatt, Kuppenheim, and Bischweier, belongs to the largest employers in the region. At the Rastatt site, the A-Class, GLA, CLA, CLA Shooting Brake, and EQA are produced. The site covers the entire range of modern drive technologies with classic combustion engines, plug-in hybrids, and electric vehicles. As the local HR department, we are the contact for managers and specialist areas of the Rastatt production plant. Within the scope of your internship, you support our team in attendance and disciplinary management as well as in HR consulting and gain comprehensive insights into the operational HR work of a modern production site. In doing so, you work with various internal partners and actively contribute to current HR topics, projects, and personnel processes.

• Support of the Attendance and Disciplinary Management (ADM) & Consulting team in operational HR work and current HR topics
• Participation in measures of Operational Reintegration Management (BEM), particularly in the organization, coordination, and follow-up of discussions
• Participation in personnel discussions as well as support in the preparation of discussion minutes and personnel-relevant documents
• Participation in the coordination and implementation of personnel measures
• Collaboration in the preparation, organization, and execution of workshops and events
• Support of consultants in projects in the area of organizational development as well as a current management initiative
• Independent assumption of diverse administrative and organizational tasks in daily business
• Collaboration with various internal partners, for example the factory medical service, legal counsel, and managers
• Support in the preparation of presentations and communication materials
• Collaboration in the continuous further development of the area with a focus on digitalization, innovation, and modern HR work
• Insights into various HR topics and the opportunity for job shadowing in other HR functions at the site

• Degree program in the field of Business Administration, Social Sciences, Law, or a comparable degree program
• Good English skills in word and writing
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Ideally first practical experience in HR work or project management
