Working Student Release Workflow & Product Master Data

In IT for the research and development area, we, the "Release Workflow & Product Master Data" team, are responsible for the processes and methods of the design release process for processing, checking, and approving components or component uses for vehicle/aggregate parts lists. We ensure that the methods and processes are correctly and completely mapped in the associated IT systems. In your work, you support the adaptation of IT systems in the form of smaller specifications and concepts, implementations, as well as tests and informing users about latest changes.

• Editorial management and maintenance of our social intranet presence and our SharePoint with user documentation
• Recording and documentation of requirements as well as creation of smaller IT specifications including research
• Planning, execution, and documentation of tests to ensure functionality & data quality
• Creation of click guides and training materials for users

• Studies in Business Informatics or comparable degree programs
• Confident handling of MS Office programs (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Secure German and English skills in word and writing
• Knowledge in using the tools Jira, Confluence
• First experiences with PowerBI and data visualization and knowledge in SQL, Databricks, Azure DevOps and Git are an advantage
• Analytical skills and an independent, structured way of working
• Also an advantage are experiences with the PDM system "Smaragd" and/or DIALOG-E
