Intern Test Technology Driver Assistance Systems and Automated Driving (Development ADAS/AD)

Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest providers of premium cars and vans. The Test Technology and Communication team in the Testing & Data Analytics Advanced Driver Assistance Systems/Automated Driving (ADAS/AD) area makes a significant contribution to realizing the vision of accident-free and autonomous driving. It is an enabler for reproducible, development-accompanying testing, rating and certification on the test site. For this purpose, test equipment and methods for driver assistance systems are developed and operated. In addition, the current innovation status of ADAS/AD (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems/Automated Driving) systems is regularly presented at driving events, to representatives of authorities and the press. Within the internship, you will support the test equipment operation and test equipment development close to the vehicle at the Test and Technology Center in Immendingen. The activity can start from March 2027.

• Support in the development and optimization of dynamic/complex test equipment systems (including design or software tasks)
• Organizational tasks such as participation in the support of the extensive vehicle fleet
• If applicable, participation in the preparation and coordination of press events

• Degree program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or a comparable degree program
• Secure German and English skills in word and writing
• Confident handling of Microsoft Office
• Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python or MATLAB is an advantage
