Apprenticeship as Warehouse Specialist

Two-year apprenticeship as a warehouse specialist (m/f/d) at METRO Deutschland GmbH. During the training you get to know the variety of METRO, from fresh food and catering supplies to international specialties, and become part of the delivery team. Training starts in summer 2027. Duration: 2 years with the option to upgrade to warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d).

• Goods expertise: In goods receiving, you learn to accept goods, check their condition and prepare them for storage
• Storage: For storage, you bring goods to the right storage locations with material handling equipment and ensure optimal storage conditions
• Goods transport: You learn theoretical knowledge about deliveries to customers and creating delivery route plans
• Safety first: You learn everything about complying with safety and environmental guidelines and understand which rules to follow
• Further development: Complement your training with projects and e-learnings that give you a deep insight into the food and catering world

• School education: at least a good Hauptabschluss (lower secondary certificate)
