About this Apprenticeship
As a delivery / order picking employee (m/f/d), you use your organizational talent in planning and stock management to ensure METRO's customers get their deliveries. Full-time, on site.
What You'll Learn
- Planning: ensure customer-focused, reliable and efficient planning and stock management of deliveries
- Quality assurance: ensure compliance with legal and internal quality assurance rules (e.g. HACCP)
- Order picking: ensure customer-focused, reliable and efficient handling of customer order picking
- Transport preparation: careful preparation of food for transport
- Support the department manager on various topics
Requirements
- Ideally completed training in wholesale or logistics (e.g. wholesale clerk (m/f/d), warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d)) or equivalent knowledge of delivery processes
- Ideally experience in different product areas and confident use of MS Office
- Calmness: you love the hustle and bustle and like to be in the middle of it
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system
