Deputy Logistics Coordinator

As deputy logistics coordinator at METRO in Sulzemoos, you ensure and improve reliable, efficient delivery order processing focused on customer needs. You support and deputise for the department manager. This is a full-time role on site; the listing has expired.

• Deputising: Support and cover for the department manager in running the department and planning staffing to ensure customers receive support
• Customer service: Ensure food service customers receive complete deliveries on time
• Delivery coordination: Coordinate internal and external delivery steps, from customer orders to route planning, to ensure correct and timely deliveries
• Improvement: Understand customer needs and help improve and develop processes
• Quality assurance: Ensure compliance with legal and internal quality requirements, such as HACCP, so customers receive fresh, high-quality products

• Training: Completed vocational training, for example in trade or logistics as a wholesale clerk, retail clerk or logistics specialist, or relevant practical experience
• Experience and knowledge: Ideally, experience in a similar scheduling and logistics role and confident use of MS Office
• Organisation: A responsible approach that helps you stay organised under pressure
• Commitment: Willingness to work a two-shift system
