Fresh Fish Counter Sales Assistant

METRO is seeking sales staff and career changers for its fresh fish counter in Brunnthal. The full-time role covers customer advice, sales, product displays and quality checks. The listing is marked as expired.

• Excellent customer service: Advise food service customers with expert knowledge and reliably help with questions and requests about fish and seafood.
• Active sales: Approach customers openly, recommend suitable products and explain the benefits of the fresh fish range.
• Appealing fish displays: Use your knowledge of the products to create displays that make customers want to buy.
• Focus on freshness: Maintain hygiene and quality, follow legal quality rules including HACCP and best-before date checks, and keep products up to high standards.

• Sales experience: Ideally, you have completed commercial training in food retail or have experience as a sales assistant, retail specialist, specialist food sales assistant or in a similar sales role.
• Career changers are welcome, including people from hospitality with experience as a cook or restaurant service professional.
• Fish experience is a plus: Previous work selling or preparing fresh fish is a strong advantage but is not required.
• Customer focus: Customer satisfaction comes first for you. You are passionate about fresh food and have a friendly manner and good communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts: You are willing to work in a two-shift system.
