Field Sales Representative

Full-time field sales role with METRO in Würselen. Advise hotel and restaurant customers at their premises, win new customers and work with the internal customer management team to find suitable solutions. The listing is marked as expired.

• Customer advice: Use your knowledge of the product range to advise customers at their businesses and identify ways our products can help them succeed.
• Winning new customers: Actively find new customers, use your understanding of the market to approach newly opening businesses at the right time and get restaurant owners interested in our services.
• Customer service: Act as a trusted contact who solves problems quickly and effectively to keep long-term cooperation running smoothly.
• Customer relationships: Take charge of your results, plan appointments independently and maintain respectful professional networks.
• Teamwork: Work with the internal customer management team, wholesale store and delivery team to give customers the best possible service and support.

• Sales professional or industry expert: You have completed vocational training in retail or sales, for example in wholesale or insurance, or hold a similar business qualification.
• Career change: Alternatively, you have a successful record in field sales or come directly from hospitality, for example as a cook, restaurant manager or hotel professional. You want to use your experience in sales and move away from shifts and weekend work.
• Sales skills: You communicate well, have a talent for selling and find it easy to build networks.
• Finding new customers: You enjoy the challenge of winning new customers and have the persistence and negotiation skills to close deals.
• Empathy and communication: You are friendly and focused on helping customers. You quickly adapt to different people, from passionate Michelin-starred chefs to practical snack bar owners.
• Confidence: You act confidently and build partnerships based on cooperation.
• Digital skills: You are comfortable using modern equipment such as a tablet.
• Driving licence: You hold a category B car driving licence.
• Local residence: You currently live in the sales area.
