Then you are exactly right with us! As a field sales representative (m/f/d), you are the face of METRO on site. Together with our internal customer management, you transform customer needs into solutions, strengthen long-term partnerships and inspire new customers for our product ranges and services.

• Customer consulting: As an expert for our product range, you advise our customers directly in their businesses and identify potentials to make their business even more successful through our products.
• New customer acquisition: The acquisition of new customers is your passion. With your 'hunter mentality' and a fine sense for the market, you are as a sales manager at new openings at the right time at the right place (to win over gastronomers with enthusiasm for our services.)
• Customer service: You see yourself as a problem solver and trusted person. In case of challenges, you react quickly and solution-oriented to guarantee a long-term and smooth cooperation.
• Customer care: You control your success yourself, plan your appointments independently and maintain your networks on an equal footing.
• Teamwork: Together with our internal customer management, the wholesale store and the delivery service, you form an unbeatable team – always with the goal of providing our customers with the best possible service and optimal support.

• Sales professional or industry insider: You have completed vocational training in trade or sales, e.g. as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant (m/f/d), insurance clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable commercial qualification.
• Career change: Alternatively, you have already successfully sold in field service or you come directly from the hospitality industry, e.g. as a cook (m/f/d), restaurant manager (m/f/d) or hotel specialist (m/f/d) and (no longer want to work shifts and weekends,) want to contribute your valuable expertise in sales. • Sales talent: You are a strong communicator, have sales talent and building networks is second nature to you.
• Acquisition strength: You view active new customer acquisition as a motivating challenge and have the necessary stamina and negotiation skills to successfully close acquisition processes.
• Empathy & communication: You make our customers happy because friendliness and service orientation are a matter of course for you. In doing so, you adapt instantly to every conversation partner, from the passionate Michelin-star chef to the pragmatic snack bar operator.
• Self-confidence: You appear self-confident and ensure a partnership-based collaboration.
• Digital fitness: Working with the latest technical equipment such as tablets is no problem for you.
• Driving license: You have a class B car driving license.
• Regional proximity: Your current place of residence is in the sales territory.
