Inside Sales Representative / METRO Store

As an inside sales representative / METRO store (m/f/d), also called in-store customer manager (m/f/d), you are in direct contact with our customers. You hold active sales conversations in the wholesale store and advise customers on our range and services. METRO Deutschland GmbH has more than 10,000 employees, 102 wholesale stores and 11 delivery depots across Germany.

• Customer service: You are the first contact for our customers in the wholesale store
• Customer care: Your skilled support steadily grows your customer base
• Customer approach: In direct contact you actively sell, advise on range and services (e.g. delivery, digitalisation) and do needs-based cross selling
• Teamwork: You work closely with field sales and delivery
• Customer events: You organise and support customer events such as trade fairs, tastings, wine forums and dessert trainings

• Completed training in hospitality or retail (e.g. cook, restaurant specialist, wholesale clerk (m/f/d)) or suitable practical experience
• Ideally experience in active selling, knowledge of hospitality/hotel processes and confident use of MS Office
• Strong communication skills, sales talent and building networks
• Customer focus: friendliness as well as customer, service and quality orientation
