The practical part covers data handling, forecasting, knowledge extraction and implementation, data preparation and provision, reporting and process optimization, fundamentals of software engineering and application development, testing and analyzing technical solutions, and evaluation of existing software. The theoretical part includes fundamentals of computer science, data science, AI and business administration, programming, mathematics/statistics, modern database concepts, IT security and data protection, data-driven corporate management, process management and process mining, and a choice between two profiles: Data Engineering & Analytics or Artificial Intelligence & Intelligence Engineering.
