Strategic Buyer (non-IT / Digitalization)

Strategic buyer at NORD/LB in Hannover. You develop commodity group strategies, negotiate with suppliers and further develop a cloud-based purchasing tool. Start as soon as possible.

• You develop and implement commodity group strategies, with a clear focus on standardization, efficiency gains and economic evaluation.
• You design and further develop a cloud-based purchasing tool for process optimization, including KPI definition and monitoring.
• You are a source of ideas for new methods, technologies and trends in strategic purchasing.
• You are responsible for project initiation and lead the tender and selection process, from creating and evaluating business cases to a successful selection decision.
• You independently conduct negotiations with suppliers from various commodity groups.
• You advise and support the departments and project teams on purchasing-related questions, especially the economic evaluation of options and scenarios.

• You have a completed degree in business, technology or a comparable field.
• You bring several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally focused on non-IT commodity groups, or experience from management consulting (focus on supply chain, procurement or operations).
• You have solid knowledge of creating and evaluating business cases and a strong affinity for numbers.
• You have experience with digital purchasing tools and an affinity for data-driven processes.
• You have business-fluent German and English skills.
• You stand out through strong communication, analytical thinking and a love of innovation, and enjoy shaping change processes.
