Apprenticeship - Retail Salesperson

Your three-year apprenticeship (shortening possible with good performance!) is the perfect entry to dive deep into our assortment and lay the foundation for your career. The framework conditions: You work five days a week in various shifts within our opening hours (Monday to Saturday). You attend vocational school in blocks or on fixed days to acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge and prepare well for the exams. Outlook after the apprenticeship: We train to take you on in responsible specialist and expert positions. Start directly afterwards – for example as a kitchen or garden planner, plant expert or as a PRO salesperson for our business customers.

Product knowledge – You will learn our entire building and garden assortment and can later specialize in your preferred area. Operational processes – In addition to our assortments, you will also get to know all other areas such as checkout, service center and goods receipt to understand our business from the ground up. Customer advisory – You advise our customers in the store and find the right solution for every concern. Merchandise management – You familiarize yourself with merchandise ordering and optimal product presentation. Digital customer interaction – Whether app, email or messenger: You answer customer inquiries via our modern channels and experience contemporary customer dialogue. Project participation – Together with the team you implement varied projects in the store and gain valuable experience during the apprentice project week or in our two-week apprentice store.

School leaving certificate – You have a successful lower secondary school certificate, intermediate school certificate or your high school diploma before the start of the apprenticeship. Customer orientation – You enjoy dealing with people and have an open manner. Enthusiasm – You bring motivation for diverse tasks and a varied daily routine. Communication skills – You can express yourself clearly and understandably both in direct conversation and digitally, and are willing to actively advise and sell.

Attractive pay – Graduated remuneration: €1,175 (1st year), €1,280 (2nd year), €1,425 (3rd year) plus pro-rated holiday and Christmas bonuses. Mobility bonus – Receive up to €30 net per month, graduated according to your commute. The full bonus applies from six kilometers; for shorter distances you receive a pro-rated subsidy.
