Dual Study Program - Retail Management (Bachelor of Arts)

OBI offers a dual study program in retail management with six possible partner universities. Theory is taught in blocks at the selected university, while practical work takes place five days a week in different shifts during opening hours from Monday to Saturday.

• Build broad retail knowledge in sales, product assortment and processes.
• Advise customers in the store and handle digital customer inquiries.
• Actively support department managers with daily tasks.
• Work independently while staying closely aligned with store management.
• Gain practical experience through the trainee project week and the two-week trainee store.

• Successfully completed Abitur or Fachabitur by the start of the program.
• Open, committed, communicative and team-oriented.
• Responsible, assertive and ambitious.
• Willing to work at different stores in the region.
• Enthusiasm for retail, ideally with initial experience from a part-time job or internship.
