In Category Management, we always focus on customers and merchandise: participate in interesting projects – from optimizing our shelves and assortment analyses to innovative ideas for a growth-oriented, customer-centric, and multi-channel concept. From our Store Support Center in Wermelskirchen, we serve not only Germany but also other European countries such as Austria, Hungary, or the Czech Republic, so you can also take on international responsibility. During your working student activity, you have the opportunity to examine internal data sources, explore interesting topics, and further develop your skills with the support of a personal mentor. • Support: Participation in one of our Category Management teams in strategic projects and exciting assortment revisions
• Data analysis: Evaluation of existing reports and dashboards to develop well-founded recommendations for action for your team
• Interface work: Close exchange and coordination with strategic partners in the company
• Master data maintenance: Reliable management of relevant master data as a solid foundation for our digital and stationary business
• Supplier contact: Regular communication with our suppliers to ensure reliable goods supply for our customers

• Studies: Advanced studies in business administration with first successful semesters
• Experience: First practical insights in retail, category management, sales, marketing, project management, or consulting are an advantage
• Language skills: Very good German and English skills in word and writing
• Analytics: Strong numerical understanding and strong analytical skills
• Work style: Quick comprehension, high self-initiative, and independent and reliable task completion
• Availability: 15–20 hours per week for an assignment of at least 12 months
