Finance Expert - Accounts Payable

For our Internal Areas business unit, we are looking for you as a Finance Expert – Accounts Payable (f/m/d) as soon as possible. As part of the Finance team, you are responsible for PwC Germany's internal figures: from reviewing and booking invoices to preparing business reports and monthly and annual financial statements for the whole group. The team also supports the departments with the administrative handling of customer orders and is responsible for management accounting.

• Accounting – You take responsibility for accounts payable and fixed asset accounting and ensure incoming invoices are recorded, checked and paid on time.
• Optimization – You continuously develop existing processes and workflows and contribute your own ideas to improve efficiency.
• Quality – You carry out process controls in accounting independently and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Closing – You are responsible for monthly and annual closings as well as quality assurance, and confidently contribute tax and accounting questions.
• Collaboration – As a central contact person, you work closely with internal stakeholders, auditors and areas such as IT and purchasing, and independently lead (sub-)projects.

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration, economics or a comparable qualification, for example as a certified accountant.
• Several years of professional experience in accounts payable, fixed asset accounting or a comparable finance environment give you a secure handling of accounting and tax questions.
• Solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud and very good Excel skills help you manage processes efficiently and based on data.
• Very good German and English skills, written and spoken, make collaboration with different stakeholders easier.
• You stand out through a structured and self-reliant way of working, analytical thinking, a strong affinity for numbers and excellent communication skills.
