About this Apprenticeship
Support the store management at REWE Jürgen Maziejewski oHG with all day-to-day tasks and act as their deputy. This is a permanent, full-time role.
What You'll Learn
- Help implement REWE's sales concept and carry out the related advertising and sales activities
- Manage sales, costs and stocktaking results, implement quality management and ensure compliance with legal and company rules
- Support your team with advice and practical help, lead by example and prepare staff schedules
- Lead with respect and treat people as equals, building trusting working relationships
- Provide knowledgeable advice and friendly service so customers feel welcome and well looked after
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, preferably in food retail; an advanced retail management qualification is a plus
- Ideally, experience as a manager or deputy manager in sales
- Motivation to perform, organisational skills and a focus on results
- Leadership skills, a sense of responsibility and team spirit
- Willingness to work flexible shifts Monday to Saturday between 07:00 and 22:00
