What You'll Learn
- Prepare dishes for all outlets following the recipes and guidelines (breakfast buffet, Cast Iron Grill restaurant, banquets, Executive Lounge, Plüsch Bar, staff restaurant)
- Prepare the mise-en-place
- Prepare dishes independently at the live cooking station
- Plate and serve dishes
- Look after buffets at events and have direct guest contact
- Order and organize goods with the purchasing department
- Get insights into F&B service and help out
- Work early and late shifts
- After induction, run your own stations
- Attend vocational school in Cologne in block system
Requirements
- Confident manner, well-groomed appearance and good way of expressing yourself
- Completed school education
- Solid basic knowledge of German and English
- Ideally first experience in gastronomy, hotels or services through an internship or side job
- Team player
- A natural host, with creativity and joy in your work
