Transport Logistics Coordinator

Permanent full-time role at Rheinmetall Technical Publications in Penzberg organising transport, shipping and customs clearance.

• Manage material shipping from development and HIB, connecting requesters, customs, logistics and freight forwarders
• Work with the export department and handle import, export and domestic shipments
• Organise and commission transport of large equipment
• Process and administer orders independently
• Handle customs clearance with the customs department
• Check invoices and handle complaints
• Maintain and manage master data and perform other administrative tasks
• Organise trade fair transport and storage
• Perform other operational administrative tasks

• Completed vocational training in freight forwarding, industrial business, wholesale and foreign trade, or office administration, or proven professional experience in these areas
• Practical experience in cross-border air and road transport
• Ability to track and monitor transport orders reliably
• Knowledge and experience of common customs procedures
• Independent, focused and careful working style, even under time pressure
• Analytical skills and a structured approach
• Good spoken and written English for communication
• Skill in planning, organising and coordinating workflows
• Very good knowledge of relevant computer programs and good knowledge of SAP R3
• Willingness to support or cover for colleagues
