Dual study programme in Industrial Engineering and Logistics starting in 2027

Dual study programme at Pierburg GmbH in Neuss leading to a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. The programme lasts 4.5 years and starts on 1 September 2027. It focuses on global supply chains, material flows, ERP systems and lasting process improvements.

• Gain broad knowledge of global supply chains and international flows of goods and information
• Develop an initial understanding of customs clearance, Incoterms and country-specific rules
• Help plan and manage flows of materials and components, and use planning methods such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
• Learn to use ERP systems such as SAP and apply modules such as SAP MM, SD or SCM in practice
• Help make supply chains sustainable and able to cope with disruptions
• Learn to communicate and work across cultures with international sites and business partners
• Work on projects involving several departments
• Learn to create dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Help develop lasting process improvements and show these processes using visual tools

• A good school-leaving qualification, with very good grades in the qualification for a university of applied sciences or the Abitur
• You find German, English and mathematics easy, as rearranging formulas and communicating with customers and service providers are basic parts of your studies
• Strong interest in logistics and enjoyment of international projects and working with international customers
• Some experience using MS Office programs, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Team spirit, reliability and the ability to complete your tasks independently
• Attention to detail and willingness to take responsibility
