• Helping with the concept and design of optical assemblies for high-power laser optics / laser sources
• Selecting, procuring and integrating optical components / laser source
• Planning, carrying out and evaluating lab tests to verify component properties
• Simulation (optical, thermal, mechanical) of optical systems and optical assemblies or laser source
• Technical coordination with subcontractors and manufacturing partners

• Completed degree in physics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with a focus on optics / laser physics, technical optics or precision engineering
• Professional experience in developing optical systems for high-power lasers
• Ideally good knowledge of optical design software (Zemax or similar) or CAD
• Confident English skills, spoken and written
• Analytical thinking, willingness to innovate and technical understanding
• Willingness to travel on business occasionally
