HR Service Partner

Blohm + Voss is seeking an HR Service Partner in Hamburg for a permanent full-time position handling payroll and supporting employees with HR service matters.

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for an assigned group of employees, including all required reports to social insurance bodies and tax authorities
• Provide knowledgeable, helpful support to employees on payroll and administrative questions, including parental leave, phased retirement and other HR service matters
• Communicate and coordinate with social insurance bodies, authorities and internal and external auditors, and reliably coordinate electronic data exchange
• Support year-end closing and coordinate with the finance department on relevant payroll matters and accounts
• Independently handle reporting and certificates for your area of responsibility on time
• Carefully maintain time management systems, employee master data and digital personnel files
• Help improve and develop payroll and HR service processes

• Completed vocational training in business administration, for example in office management, human resources or a related field
• At least two years of payroll experience
• Good understanding of payroll tax, employment law and social insurance rules
• Confident use of digital applications; ideally experience with payroll or time recording systems such as ADP Paisy, Interflex, HR Works, Lexware, Sage or DATEV
• An organised, careful and responsible approach to work and confidence in handling several matters at once
• A focus on service and solutions, strong teamwork skills and responsible, discreet handling of sensitive data
• Fluent written and spoken German
