Key User SAP - Payroll

KS Gleitlager GmbH is looking for a Key User SAP - Payroll (m/f/d), full-time with a permanent contract. The open position can be filled at any of the Power Systems division's locations in Germany.

• Central first-level support for payroll accountants and operational HR within the Power Systems division across Germany (creating handouts on various processes)
• Monitoring the monthly payroll run in SAP HCM, analyzing error messages in the payroll log and fixing them together with IT
• Process optimization & customizing (capturing business requirements, assessing and implementing them in SAP customizing, e.g. new collective agreements, new wage types)
• Ensuring data quality through system-supported pre-checks and monitoring of interfaces to upstream systems (e.g. time recording) as well as follow-up activities (FI/CO transfer)
• Testing and release management of new SAP packages
• Creating ad-hoc reports using queries and standard reports
• Supporting tax and social insurance audits as well as financial audits
• Creating reports for audits and expert opinions
• Participation in group-wide projects (including the introduction of S/4 HANA)
• Coordination of external service providers
• Documentation of the system landscape and its extensions
• Stabilization of the existing system landscape

• Successfully completed degree in information technology, business administration or comparable training
• Professional experience in application management or a comparable position
• Deep knowledge of German payroll matters
• Extensive experience in customizing SAP payroll for Germany (including schemas/calculation rules, and communication with authorities and social insurance providers)
• Experience in SAP HR forms and H4S4 is an advantage
• Methodological knowledge (ideally certified) in project management and ITIL is desirable
• Great interest in building a professional in-house application operation and project support
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working as well as communication and teamwork skills
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Intercultural competence and willingness to travel
