Product Manager for Heavy Tracked Vehicles

At Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH, you will lead the strategy and daily management of a heavy tracked vehicle product portfolio. You will develop the business and innovation strategy for support vehicles and advance their technical and commercial roadmap. This permanent, full-time position can be based in Kiel or Unterlüß.

• Lead the strategy and daily management of a product portfolio
• Identify global customer needs and turn them into product requirements for the RLS organisation
• Develop and manage the business and innovation strategy for the support vehicle product portfolio
• Advance the technical and commercial roadmap for support vehicles
• Independently develop, calculate and manage business cases
• Launch and manage strategic cost reduction programmes
• Work closely with teams such as sales, engineering, purchasing and service
• Create product marketing materials and focused decision papers for senior management
• Improve internal processes and continuously improve coordination between departments

• Completed master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable subject
• Initial leadership experience, ideally in a matrix organisation
• Knowledge of the defence, aviation or automotive industry, particularly operational and tactical requirements
• Confident use of PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to present complex information clearly for the intended audience
• Very good spoken and written German and English
• Strong written and spoken communication skills and the ability to manage relationships across all levels, departments and teams
• A structured, independent approach to work, with strong organisational skills, resilience and practical problem solving in daily project work
• Willingness to travel for work
