Production Project Engineer

Permanent full time role as a production project engineer at Rheinmetall Nitrochemie Aschau GmbH in Aschau am Inn. You will plan and manage investment projects for production facilities, working with internal departments, international sites and suppliers.

• Develop and manage investment projects for production facilities
• Identify needs and work with departments across the company
• Work internationally and share knowledge with other Rheinmetall sites
• Develop proposed solutions and assess their financial value
• Prepare schedules and other project documents, such as requirements specifications
• Review quotations and plans and place orders
• Monitor project progress and targets through regular reviews, analysis and project status updates
• Prepare clear presentations and reports
• Ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements
• Communicate with suppliers

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation engineering or a comparable qualification
• Experience in developing and managing technical investment projects at a manufacturing company
• Technical creativity and the ability to learn new subjects quickly and understand technical connections
• Knowledge of functional safety and explosion protection under ATEX rules is an advantage
• Very good spoken and written German and English; Spanish and Italian are an advantage
• Confident use of MS Office; knowledge of design software such as Autodesk Inventor / Vault and SAP is an advantage
• An organised and independent approach, teamwork and communication skills at all levels, and a practical approach to getting things done
