Project Manager Facility Management

In this position you shape office and workplace concepts at the Bremen site and independently develop new office concepts (New Work). You manage external service providers in infrastructural facility management and are the central contact for building management. Fixed-term contract, full-time.

• Taking over subtasks from the contract or ongoing site development and independently handling very small projects
• Helping plan and carry out assigned project tasks to performance and quality standards within cost and schedule, together with an interdisciplinary project team of employees from various departments and external companies
• Supporting the responsible project manager in carrying out facility management projects
• Independent and holistic design and implementation of new office concepts (New Work) for the site, including reviewing alternative solutions and intensive analysis of office space needs and the working methods of individual functions
• Responsibility for office and workplace design at the Bremen site, considering legal and internal requirements
• Administering the room booking tool and workplace management in the CAFM tool in line with site development planning, and being the contact for employees on all infrastructural building management questions
• Independent commissioning, organizing, coordinating and technical supervision of external service providers in infrastructural facility management, and steering the change process using change management
• Independent preparation of specialist documents (presentations, tables, evaluations, texts etc.) as well as research, assessment and preparation of content to prepare decisions

• Completed degree and willingness to obtain Project Management certification Level C according to GPM standard
• First experience leading a project team and several years of professional experience in new office concepts and change management
• Knowledge of managing subcontractors and coordinating measures in facility management
• Very good MS Office skills; knowledge of SAP and Excel VBA desirable
• Business-fluent English, spoken and written
• Good spatial imagination, experience in spatial design and creativity
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working, strong organizational, team and communication skills
• Willingness to travel worldwide
