As Project Manager in Nautical Simulation (m/f/d) you have the opportunity to shape exciting projects in an international environment. You structure your work environment and tasks yourself and take care of a successful project progress with passion. From the sustainable building of business relationships to the technical support of project interfaces – you work here holistically and independently. Focus topics of your projects are e.g. naval as well as nautical and ship-operational training simulators, naval on-board systems as well as the networking of mission systems and command systems.
What You'll Learn
- Responsible execution of performance- and quality-appropriate planning and processing of projects within cost and time frames
- Sustainable maintenance of customer and supplier contacts
- Ensuring contract, risk and claim management externally and internally (in cooperation with respective departments)
- Technical leadership of interdisciplinary project teams
- Conducting negotiations with customers, partners and suppliers in coordination with involved departments
- Control of suppliers during project execution
- Support of sales in acquisition projects
Requirements
- Completed technical university degree (Dipl.-Ing. / Dipl.-Inform. / Master)
- Experience in responsible leadership of projects/teams
- Ideally knowledge in the field of maritime systems, e.g. sensors and effectors of the navy, nautical or ship-operational systems
- Project management certification Level C according to GPM standard an advantage or willingness to obtain it
- Negotiation-proficient English skills (written and spoken), further foreign language (Spanish, French) desirable
- Negotiation and communication skills
- High intercultural competence and willingness to work in an international environment
- Worldwide travel readiness
