Project Manager Submarine Simulation

Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH is looking for a project manager for state-of-the-art tactical simulators for submarine teams. You are responsible for the success of projects in the maritime domain, from the bidding phase through development to final acceptance.

• Planning, managing and executing single or parallel projects to the required performance, schedule and quality in order to reach the defined company goals.
• Technical leadership of small interdisciplinary project teams as well as coordination and monitoring of suppliers and partners during project execution.
• Continuous progress monitoring, evaluation of controlling reports and preparation of the regular project report for management.
• Proactive identification of project risks and enforcement of contractual claims internally and externally in cooperation with the specialist departments.
• Sustainable maintenance and building of customer contacts and ensuring targeted project communication at all levels.
• Preparation and conduct of negotiations with national and international customers, partners and suppliers in coordination with the specialist departments.
• Active participation in and support of sales in acquisition business and in the bidding phase.

• Completed technical university degree (e.g. electrical engineering, computer science, systems engineering, mechanical engineering) or a comparable qualification
• A recognized project management certification (e.g. GPM/IPMA standard or equivalent) is desirable
• Solid professional experience independently leading technical projects and providing technical leadership of interdisciplinary teams
• Negotiation-level English in speaking and writing, entrepreneurial thinking, assertiveness and strong intercultural competence for the international environment. Other foreign languages (e.g. Spanish, French) are a plus
• Willingness to travel worldwide
